Amendment 1
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Summary of amendment 1: U.S. citizens have the right and freedom to express their religion.U.S. citizens also have the right to express their thoughts, opinions and press. U.S. citizens also have the right to protest over something or someone that they do not agree on. U.S. citizens also have the right to ask the government for changes.
