Quartering of troops has been has been a threat for citizens. Due that they barge in peoples households and examine their property with no reason, with no permission.

The British thought it was necessary to keep a number of troops permanent troops in households to protect the their colony from war. However, it made problems to the Americans.

Many question if this amendment is still germane to us.Its true that soldiers keep the people safe ,but they also disturb the private property of the house owner(s).The third amendment fixed this issue.

The third amendment helps protect American citizens from being forced to hoard military soldiers during the war.

During times of peace, troops were not allowed to enter the household of American citizens without the permission of the house’s owner.Even at war then third amendment allows the American citizens to not house military soldiers.

This amendment was meant to protect citizen’s homes, years later ,during peace time, the amendment now protects the citizen’s privacy.

The quartering Act has led to anger among the colonist and their homes. While the soldiers from military forces are to protect citizens, they abuse their privacy.

Many courts were not sure about the third amendment ,but it helps protect the privacy of its citizens.

Big Idea #1: The third amendment was made so that American civilians don’t have to quarter or house military soldiers. The quartering of troops first started after the war with the French and Indians. The British government thought it would be necessary to house troops in people’s houses to protect them from the French and Indians. So the British decided to house or quarter troops to the homes of American civilians.
Question#1: Was the quartering of troops necessary to help the American citizens?
Question#2: What was the quartering Act, and what was the American’s response?
Question #3: How did the Third Amendment help solve the Quartering Act?
Answers
A#3: The quartering Act has ended in March 24, 1776. The disappearance of the act led to the creation of the Third Amendment. The citizens dint like the experience of the quartering act on their private property, this led the Founding Fathers to create a way to protect the rights of the American citizens.

Answers
A#1:I dont think the Third Amendment affects anything today, since the wars are mostly far over, and the quartering of troops are no longer allowed.
I give a thumbs up. There are no more wars today, so it does not do much.
A#2: The Third Amendment says “ No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law”, so the Third Amendment was meant to and created to stop the quartering of troops.
It’s good, but I think you could do better. I agreed about the Third Amendment created to stop the quartering of troops.
A#3:I think the Third Amendment is not mentioned much today is that since there are no more wars today, the Third Amendment does not do much in America.
True, no more wars means no more quartering means not very useful Amendment
