1. You need one centimeter graph paper and pencil. Make each side of each square 10 feet. The area of each square is 100 square feet. Only use the full squares.
2. You are going to create seven habitats on the graph paper. Each habitat has to have an area of at least 2000 square feet. Don't forget to include a walkway. Draw these on the graph paper.
3. Then, using your math skills, find the area and perimeter of each habitat and the walkway.
4. Label each habitat with a jungle animal of your choice.

You know you have completed the assignment correctly if you have checked your answers and your math is correct. You should have seven new habitats and a walkway.
