Introduction
Welcome to the Age of Imperialism!
European Imperialism in the late 1800s changed the world and set the stage for many crucial events in World History. Industrial powers sought complete economic and culutral control over foreign third-world countries who isolated themselves from the rest of the world and fell behind in the Industrial Revolution race. Because these countries couldn't keep up with modern technology and society, Imperialist powers sought to exploit these regions of the world for profit and conquest throughout the world. Countries all over the world would soon fall victim to the great Imperialism race, and the results that this would have on the world would prove to be life-altering for everyone and has shaped the way our world is today.
