Shakespeare claims that he wrote over 30 plays and produced over 200 sonnets and poems. However, for four hundred years, people have wondered whether or not Shakespeare really wrote all of the works associated with him. Today, you will act as the Judge, Jury, and Executioner!
Sit back, go through all of the evidence and determine which candidate you believe is most likely to have written the works attributed to Shakespeare!

Evaluation
Here is how you will be evaluated:
Part One
1. Create notes on your graphic organizer about your candidate.
- Did you paraphrase your reasons versus just copying them? (Pass/Fail)
- Were you able to come up with three reasons to support why your candidate may have written the works attributed to William Shakespeare? (2 points for each)
Part Two
1. Create notes on your graphic organizer about other candidates:
- Did you actively participate in the Jigsaw activity and create notes about the reasons associated with all candidates? (Pass/Fail)
2. Create a GoAnimate page defending your choice of which candidate you believe should be credited with writing the works attributed to Shakespeare (SEE RUBRIC).
