Amendment 1
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
Amendment 1 talks about freedom of speech which gives humans the right to speak what they feel and can’t be thrown in jail. Don’t be afraid to express yourself no matter if it’s the way you dress, look or sound no police men should arrest you. When you think about it, how would you feel if nobody listened to what you have to say and when you finally get to tell what you think they call your ideas dumb and stupid won’t you fell angry; same concept. It isn’t fair to people that have good ideas and aren’t listened to.
Big Ideas:

Freedom of Speech
from this article I learned that amendment 1 is talking about that nobody can be killed or bothered by saying what they think
I learned from this article that protects the freedom of assembly, which can mean physically gathering with a group of people to picket or protest
from this article I learned that speech doesn’t only have to mean verbally it can be symbolic or any way of communication
I learned that this says that the government cant make laws avoiding people from saying what they think
from this article I learned that the government cant not let FREE people have FREEDOM to say what they wish
Freedom of Religion
from this video I learned that people accuse people of things because of their religion
no matter what religion someone is muslim or hindu they are still human and should be treated fairly.
religion shouldn’t matter in order to have rights that other religions may have in a diverse place.
this talks about how people should take action into these problems that are going on in any country
protesting may be dangerous but it shows you care and long for change
Freedom of expression
people express how they feel
how people can persuade governments to improve
people can wear what they want or express themselves in any way
none should be discriminated or treated unfairly for expressing themselves

They are worried something going to happen to there students and also take advantage of it.
This is a good answer and also could have been more added to your answer
2. What are examples of people violating amendment 1?
The bombing marathon , no type of right to say a speech or any offense an action or words that are unwelcome are banned .
This example is a very great example and violates peoples rights to say what they believe but you could have explained why this violates the amendment
3. What are ways you think schools can allow freedom of speech and not violate amendment 1?
Some ways are standing up to what they believe and showing how they can make there community better.
This answer shows a nice specific way people can have their rights and not take advantage of it like others do.
