The first Amendment is about how people have the freedom of thought and expression. So if I believe in Christianity and You believe in the religion of Muslim, you won’t get executed. I have the Freedom of speech, so a police cant stop me for my words and protesting. If I don’t agree with a law, I have the right to make and sign a petition. 1. Do you think that the government has the right to force someone to go to the union?
  • No, I don’t think the government has the right to force someone to go to the union because many of the teachers shouldn’t be forced to go a group that believes in one thing when maybe not all teachers want to be apart of that association

I agree

  1. How does this relate to the 1st amendment?
  • This relates to the 1st amendment because it is a union which people are allowed to believe in what they want and speak freely without being forced to has the example shown.

I agree because you cannot force people to think alike

  1. What does this union do to the teachers?
  • The  union is forcing the teachers to be a part of a belief or system that speaks of their rights when maybe not all teachers believe in that situation
  •  I agree                                                                                                                                                   ~Anwsered by Precious
