Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
My summary
The first Amendment is about how people have the freedom of thought and expression. So if I believe in Christianity and You believe in the religion of Muslim, you won’t get executed. I have the Freedom of speech, so a police cant stop me for my words and protesting. If I don’t agree with a law, I have the right to make and sign a petition. If I want to make an a assemble I have the right unless it is a violent.

- Do you think that the government has the right to force someone to go to the union?
- No, I don’t think the government has the right to force someone to go to the union because many of the teachers shouldn’t be forced to go a group that believes in one thing when maybe not all teachers want to be apart of that association
I agree
- How does this relate to the 1st amendment?
- This relates to the 1st amendment because it is a union which people are allowed to believe in what they want and speak freely without being forced to has the example shown.
I agree because you cannot force people to think alike
- What does this union do to the teachers?
- The union is forcing the teachers to be a part of a belief or system that speaks of their rights when maybe not all teachers believe in that situation
- I agree ~Anwsered by Precious
