Introduction

Tempo is the speed or pace of a song. In band music, tempos are usually marked by Italian terms.

Through this lesson you will explore these terms and their meanings.

Task

Your job is to listen to examples of different tempos and figure out what the Italian words mean.

For your final product you must create your own examples of the different tempos that we have explored. Some examples of what you can use for a final product: a video, a storyboard, drawings, a cartoon, a slideshow.

Once your product is complete you will share it with a partner.
