Introduction
Amendment #1 –
Prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.
My definition: The freedom of speech, religion, press and peaceably assemble. It also prohibits the making of laws that stops any of these rights.

One example is when Martin Luther king protested for African Americans right.But he was later arrested with other people. During the protests, the Birmingham Police Department, led by Eugene "Bull" Connor, used high-pressure water jets and police dogs against protesters, including children. King was arrested and jailed early in the campaign—his 13th arrest out of 29. From his cell, he composed the now-famous "Letter from Birmingham Jail" which responds to calls on the movement to pursue legal channels for social change. King argues that the crisis of racism is too urgent, and the current system too entrenched: "We know through painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed." He points out that "everything Adolf Hitler did in Germany was 'legal'". King also expresses his frustration with white moderates and clergymen too timid to oppose an unjust system:

A jewish divorce is very religious so its violating the first amendment if they try to divorce or actually do so.
A jew(i think) was violating the law because he was handing out pamphlets of his religion. later it was taken into the supreme court in which this first amendment came about.
Jewish kids are being treated aggressively in the south by their different religion classmates,clearly a violation of the first amendment.

Answer: religion would cause trouble with the constitution
This is correct because the whole world would be a chaos if one does not want to follow the same religion and such.

Answer: it was so important because they were able to speak back to the government
This is correct because without the help from them we would probably be following one religion instead of one.
