  1. Stand your Ground

http://usconservatives.about.com/od/capitalpunishment/a/What-Are-stand-Your-Ground-Laws.htm

Stand Your Ground laws are self-defense laws that give an individual the right to use                    deadly force if their life is in danger without being required to "retreat" from the situation even if possible.

http://www.independentlivingnews.com/2nd-amendment/legislative-alerts/20715-the-left-pushes-back-on-stand-your-ground-gun-rights.stml#top

For many years, people have argued if this law should be kept because it has caused many deaths in the country.

“These stand-your-ground laws have led to increases in homicides and firearms injuries,” he continued. “These stand-your-ground laws have allowed shooters to walk free in shocking situations.”

In fact, there is a clear increase in homicides in those states, resulting in hundreds of additional shooting deaths nationwide each year.

In Florida, the law reads:

A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.

  1. NRA

http://www.nraila.org/second-amendment.aspx

The Founders were declaring that we are all equal, and that we are defined by rights that we are born with, not given to us by government. Among those rights is the right to pursue happiness--to live our lives as we think best, as long as we respect the right of all other individuals to do the same.

http://fair.org/article/gun-control-the-nra-and-the-second-amendment/

The Amendment is only 27 words: "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." While the NRA emphasizes only the last 14 words, the U.S. Supreme Court and appeals courts have focused on "well-regulated militia" and "security of a free State" to rule that Second Amendment rights are reserved to states and their militias - nowadays, the National Guards.

Good Americans have been led to believe a lie about their history. The lie is that the Second Amendment guarantees a civilian the right to firearms.

Following the Sandy Hook massacre, gun rights, gun laws and the Second Amendment have been the subject of a national dialogue.

Each year no matter the venue, the NRA convention center floor is an amazing example of capitalism as hundreds of companies show and sells thousands of different products. Major companies from Midway USA to Remington to Ruger are there in addition to smaller startups that have been able to find a comfortable home in the firearms industry.

  1. Civil Rights

http://www.theacru.org/issues-secondamendment.html

On June 26, 2008, in Heller v. D.C., the U.S. Supreme Court for the first time ruled that the Second Amendment guarantees individuals the right to own a gun. The ACRU filed several amicus briefs during the course of this historic case. This was a landmark decision in favor of the Second Amendment. All other basic rights from the Bill of Rights had long been declared "fundamental" and applied to the states as well as to the federal government.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2013/11/27/Dead-Patriot-Films-2nd-Amendment-Rights-Are-Civil-Rights

The film stresses that our Founding Fathers hedged on the right to keep and bear arms for two chief reasons: 1. Self-Defense. 2. To repel a tyranny. After witnesses and scholars speak to the critical self-defense component Ice-T narrates the history of the Battle of Athens: a post-World War II clash of arms in a sleepy Tennessee town where recently returned veterans had to use their rifles to "[liberate] the ballot boxes" from a corrupt Sheriff who had bullied the people into submission while the war was going on.

When the subject of gun control laws are discussed, rarely are they associated with the civil rights movement and the quest for equal rights for all.

http://www.examiner.com/article/energized-2nd-amendment-activists-defend-their-civil-rights-sunnyvale-ca

Due to the time constraint of confining the public hearing portion of the study to one hour, only 34 of those present were allowed to comment on the issue. Out of the 34 who were permitted to voice their opinion, 33 private citizens opposed any additional restrictions on firearms retailers within city limits and one representative from LCAV stood up to express her national-level special interest group's viewpoint on the issue.

Even prominent civil rights movement chronicler Taylor Branch gives the Deacons only passing mention in his three-volume work on the movement during the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. years.

Evaluation

Evaluation Task 1

1)What is the Second Amendment?

The second amendment protects the rights of individual the right to keep and bear arms.

This answer is exactly the answer that describes what I was looking for.

2)What is the reason this right was created and how has it affected everyday life?

The second amendment was created like other amendments to the federal government and applied against the states. The second amendment has affected everybody life because it can protect people from violence under weapons like guns being carried around.

This explanation relates to the topic and clearly show the reason the Second Amendment was created and how it affects everyone each day. This answer helps explain how the Second Amendment came to be part of our constitution and how it affects all american citizens.

3) What problems surrounded this amendment?

Problems that surrounded this amendment are like the case there talking about McDonald versus Chicago. The problem was about gun control that they're going to discuss on supreme court.

I believe this answer is able to give a good description of one problem about the Second Amendment. But I don't believe it is showing the most powerful pieces of evidence on conflict about the second Amendment. I believe you could have given the idea about how the Second Amendment has caused many deaths because the rights it gives people.
