Introduction:
Technology and all of its new age digital tools has not just moved the traditional way of learning, but it has added a twist and a spin in our classroom setting. It's challenging methods has transformed every life that has endeavor to adventure into accessing these tools of the 21st century learning with new age digital technology. Their minds are bright and eager to comprehend the material that is placed before them. For years, teachers through out our world have struggled with this concept on how to convey the techniques of teaching in order to reach those students with different levels of capabilities in learning. Flipped the class is a unique way for students to learn from home, and at school through means of technology. We have prepared a lesson for language arts on videos, blogger, and ipad. Our kindergarten students are learning at home with their parents assistance. Our subject is language art; we are going to influence the students inner abilities through using the "flipped the class" method, as we have them reflect on their family heritage.
Task
Task: Family and Culture
In our language art class we will use technology as we discussion and learn of our family and culture, students will be placed in groups of five.
1. Student are to research their family history concerning how the people and occasions from their past have affected the current as well as ones future.
2. Family gives us annal, customs, festivities, and each of our daily models of life. It also gives everyone their wonderful design in their culture.
3. In many appearances within the family's custom there are unique and many similarities as others families. Lets compare the differences in cultures within our groups.
4. Examining your family cultures in addition to their specific customs, we should look at how the history has transformed throught the years.
5.In this area, we will draw and write about our family and use our digital technology to show pictures of our family members. Afterwards we will incorporate the various types of music in our different cultures.
6. Students are to learn and recognize the vocabulary list. Listed Below
Vocabulary: *Ancestor, *Culture, *Custom, *Ethnic, *Generation, *Identify, *Legacy, *Nationlity, *Observance
7. The purpose of students learning about their families is to allow each child the opportunity to view and understand how individualized and wonderful they are.
Families acquire numerous (wonderful) stories, customs, historic traditions, and their conduct of life styles within their peculiarity of the past. Students must understand to be grateful as they honor and establish each of their families cultures.
Process
Students will be learning about their family customs in order to become more aware with each of their characteristics. Students will then be placed into groups of five; each of the group will have a laptop to access. As we discover the treasures within each students family members we will invite the children to better understand their individual uniqueness.
1. Students are asked to bring in pictures of family members, events of the past as well as the present so that they may obtain awareness of who they are becoming.
2. Sudents, you are to use these picture as you discuss with the classroom about your family annals, customs, and the ways they celebrate.
3. Sudents are to ask their parents question about the many culture connections inside their ethnicity, which gives them all uniqueness and the qualities of being who they are.
4. Students are to select a word from the vocabulary list, type it in the Word program onto the laptop computer, select images to view and describe others with different cultures.
5. Students will be asked to reflect on their family traditions as we listen to the music that is pertaining to each student's customs. A family tree will be created, we will trace students bodies as the trunk of the tree and use the pictures of families as leaves.
Evaluation
In doing the evaluation of this family research project, the children will be graded on Participation, Obtaining Family Photos, The Family Tree Diagram, Obtaining Music Relating to their Customs, and their ability to give the other students respect during their presentations.
Participate = 20%
Family Photos = 20%
Family Tree Diagram = 20%
Music = 20%
Audience Participation = 20%
The pictures will be illustrated on the lap top through projector screen. The music will be downloaded on the Ipods provided by the school prior to the presentations. The family tree diagram will be presented on butcher paper during their presentations. Students are expected to give all of their classmates respect during each presentation and an evaluation will be given based on this.
Notes will be sent home to the parents to ensure that family discussions on the project are being done. Emails will also be sent to the parents in addition to the notes sent home with the children.

Conclusion:
Now that the students have ventured into their intellectual nature and explored who their families ancestor are they will be more aware of who they are and who they will become. The purpose of families acquiring so many wonderful stories, historical background, ethnicity awareness, and performance demeanors from far back in the past is so they can understand how to be grateful and honor their history as they learn about their family characteristics. It is essential that students acknowledge these principals early in their life. Students learn who they are by learning and knowing their family customs.
