Task
Your task is to work in small groups to create a short informative brochure or poster presentation that explains:
- 3 major positive Filipino values
- 2 common challenges or weaknesses in values formation
- Practical ways to teach and practice these values in school and at home
The final output must be clear, creative, and based on facts from reliable sources. You will present your work to the class and explain how these values help build a better nation.
Process
Follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Understand the Goal
Read the introduction and task again. Discuss with your group what you already know about Filipino values and what you need to find out.
Step 2: Gather Information
Visit the resources listed below. Take down notes on:
- The meaning of each value
- Examples of how it is shown in daily life
- Why it is important
- Problems that weaken these values today
Step 3: Organize Your Findings
Group your notes into 3 sections:

Step 4: Create Your Output

Evaluation
Your output will be assessed based on five key areas to ensure quality and meaningful learning. First, the Content and Accuracy will be measured by how complete, correct, and well-explained the information you gathered is. High scores will be given if you present facts that are accurate and based on reliable sources. Second, Relevance checks whether your work clearly connects the values you discussed to real-life situations, school life, and community living, using appropriate examples to support your ideas. Third, Organization and Clarity looks at how well you arranged your ideas and how easy it is for the readers to understand your presentation. A well-structured flow with clear language will earn higher points. Fourth, Creativity and Presentation evaluates the design, layout, and visual appeal of your output. Neatness, originality, and effective use of images or graphics are considered in this criterion. Lastly, Teamwork and Effort determines how each member contributed to the activity, showing cooperation, active participation, and dedication to completing the task successfully. All these criteria combined will determine your final rating for this activity.
