Let us begin by watching this Video on the Solar system , then i want you to think, Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live on another planet? In this activity, you will become an astronaut exploring our solar system! You’ll investigate each planet’s unique features, discover how they compare to Earth, and learn why life can only exist on our planet (so far!).
Task
Form a group of 3–4 classmates.
2. Choose one planet from the list provided by your teacher.
3. Use the given resources below to research your planet’s details.
4. Gather data about its appearance, atmosphere, weather, moons, and special features.
5. Create a travel brochure using paper, pictures ,crayons, glue paint and scissors
6. Present your brochure to the class and explain why people should (or shouldn’t) visit your planet.
Evaluation
| Criteria | Excellent (5) | Good (4) | Fair (3) | Needs Improvement (2) |

Conclusion
You’ve now traveled through the Solar System and discovered what makes each planet special. Through this WebQuest, you’ve learned how to research, collaborate, and present scientific information in a creative way. Remember—exploration doesn’t end here! Keep looking up, because there’s always more to discover beyond the stars.

Teaching Philosophy and ISTE Reflection
My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that every child has the ability to learn and succeed when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and opportunities. I believe that students learn best in a positive, supportive, and engaging environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions, and participating actively in lessons. As a teacher in training, I aim to create a classroom atmosphere that is student-centered, inclusive, and encouraging for all learners regardless of their abilities or learning styles.
One of the major ideas that shaped my philosophy during the Educational Technology course was the importance of integrating technology meaningfully into teaching and learning. Throughout the course, I learned that technology is not simply an extra classroom tool but an important resource that can enhance student engagement, creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. The course allowed me to explore various digital tools and instructional strategies that can make learning more interactive and enjoyable for students.
While completing activities such as lesson planning, creating presentations, podcasts, quizzes, and participating in online discussions, I became more confident in using technology to support instruction. These experiences helped me understand that students benefit greatly when lessons include visuals, interactive activities, audio, videos, and opportunities for collaboration. I also learned that technology can help teachers meet the needs of diverse learners by providing different ways for students to access information and demonstrate understanding.
This course also helped me make strong connections to the ISTE Standards for Educators. Through the use of technology and digital learning activities, I developed as a learner by improving my technological knowledge and becoming more open to continuous professional growth. I learned the importance of being flexible and willing to adapt to new teaching methods and digital tools as education continues to evolve.
The course further reinforced the idea that teachers should act as facilitators of learning rather than simply providers of information. I now believe that technology should be used to encourage students to become active participants in the learning process through exploration, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving activities. By using educational technology, teachers can create learning experiences that are more meaningful and engaging for students.
Another important lesson I gained from the course was the importance of responsible and ethical technology use. As future educators, teachers must guide students in becoming responsible digital citizens who use technology safely, respectfully, and appropriately. The course reminded me that educators must model positive online behavior and teach students how to use digital resources responsibly.
Additionally, I learned that technology can be an effective tool for assessment and feedback. Online quizzes, interactive activities, and digital assignments can help teachers monitor students’ progress, identify strengths and weaknesses, and provide timely support where needed. This can help improve student learning outcomes and encourage greater participation.
Overall, this Educational Technology course has greatly influenced my philosophy of teaching and learning. It has strengthened my confidence, creativity, and understanding of how technology can support effective instruction in the modern classroom. Moving forward, I plan to continue using technology in meaningful and purposeful ways to create engaging, interactive, and student-centered learning experiences. My goal as an educator is to inspire students to become confident, responsible, and lifelong learners who are prepared to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
