Introduction
Hello everyone!!
Are you ready for today's activity?
Today, we will go on a special journey to help a tiny butterfly grow. But… the butterfly is confused and needs your help to grow in the right order!
Can you help the butterfly become big and beautiful? 🦋✨
Let’s begin our adventure!
Task
By the end of this activity, learners will:
- Identify the stages of butterfly lifecycle
- Order the stages of butterfly lifecycle
- Name the stages of butterfly lifecycle
- Present the lifecycle of butterfly in their own way
Process
Step 1: Watch and Explore
Learners will listen to the story " The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and reflect on it through answering guiding questions.
Step 2: Act It Out
Students become the butterfly:
Egg → curl small
Caterpillar → crawl
Chrysalis → freeze
Butterfly → flap arms
Step 3: Put in Order
Learners will number the steps of life cycle on MindMeister mind map live on screen, other unrelated items will be included to test understanding.
