Introduction

Have you ever stopped to think how or why you can learn? There are many different theories about learning; three really stand out. These are Cognitive Psychology, Behaviorism, and Social Cognitive Theory. All three have their benefits, but they are very different at the core. Students will complete this WebQuest and have a better understanding of the three different theories.

Individual Project

Read and watch the following article and videos. Provide a 4-6 sentence response stating ways that I could utilize one of these theories better in my classroom. Be sure to reference the material provided when crafting your response. This short response needs to be submitted as a Google Doc in the Google Classroom assignment.

Conclusion

Throughout this WebQuest, students learned about the differences between Cognitive Psychology, Behaviorism, and Social Cognitive Theory. Students also wrote a short response about how these theories can be better applied in the classroom. 

Take a few minutes and discuss what you have learned with nearby classmates.
