Introduction
Hey! Why did you do that?
Why did you read the line above?
And this one?
Why do you do the things you do? What made you, you?
Let's compare three theories that claim to have the correct answer and examine their similarities and differences.
Task
You will demonstrate your understanding of the concepts below by creating a visual graphic via Canvas or a similar platform, or by hand.
- Cognitive Psychology

|
| The ability to understand the graph | The visual graphic is confusing or hard to understand. | The visual graphic is understandable. | The visual graphic goes above and beyond to try to meet the students of all needs. | |
| Content of Information | The content has multiple gaps in information. | The visual graphic gives the content of the information. | The visual graphic gives more information than needed. | |
| Attractiveness of Graphic | The graphic is not stimulating to the eye. | The visual graphic gets the reader's attention. | The visual graphic was well chosen and does an exemplary job of highlighting key components. | |

Conclusion
YOU did it! You completed the assignment.
Do you know why you did that now?
Do you know what makes you, you?
It's okay if not, because at least now you can differentiate between Cognitive Psychology, Behaviorism, and Social Cognitive Theory.
We all use parts of these theories even if we are not cognitively aware of them.
What do you believe is the theory most in use in your school? How does it shape the way you learn?
