“Food on the Table: Understanding Hunger in Our Community”

Introduction

Imagine waking up one morning and realizing there isn’t enough food in your household. Millions of people in the Philippines face this reality every day. Hunger is not just about empty stomachs—it affects health, learning, and the future of a community.

In this WebQuest, you will step into the shoes of community researchers. Your goal is to investigate hunger in your town, understand its causes, and propose realistic ways to help people get food on the table. By the end of this activity, i will have a clearer picture of what it takes to address hunger responsibly and creatively.

  3. Analysis of causes – why people go hungry in your area

  4. Proposed solutions – at least 3 realistic ways to improve food availability or access

  5. Awareness campaign idea – poster, social media post, or short presentation to inform others
