Task

You will:

  1. Choose a short story or poem.

  2. Read and understand it.

  3. Find the following:

    • Theme (the main idea or lesson)

    • Characters and what they are like

    • Setting (where and when it happens)

    • Any interesting words or literary devices

  4. Create a simple presentation (poster, slides, or video) that explains what you found.

  5. Present your work to the class.

Process
  • Form Groups – Work in 3–4 students.

  • Pick a Text – Choose a short story or poem from the list or online resources.

  • Read and Take Notes – Write down important events, characters, and ideas.

  • Analyze the Text – Find the theme, characters, setting, and literary devices.

  • Make a Presentation – Use slides, a poster, or a short video to share your analysis.

  • Present and Reflect – Share with your class and talk about what you learned.
