Introduction

How did the motivations of these individuals drive the 1910 Mexican Revolution?

Students will analyze historical perspectives and create a narrative in Spanish

Task

Students will get into groups of 4 and create a Powerpoint on a specific figure during the Mexican Revolution (e.g Soldadera, Peon, etc.) and must create an original narrative of the figure, describe their involvement, day to day life, etc.

Process

In 6 slides you must have the following:

- Title Slide

- References

- Use photos that showcase your historical figure

- Use Preterite and Imperfect to explain the scene.

- Add 5 facts about the historical figure

Evaluation

Historical Accuracy: Used proper and accurate dates and locations

Grammar Proficiency: Able to properly use both Preterite and Imperfect tense

Participation: Each indiviual had their role and part during the presentation

Conclusion

We combined history with grammar in order to create a historical narrative, putting yourself into these individuals shoes.
