Culturally Responsive Teaching in Today’s Classrooms

Introduction

Welcome future educators!

As teachers in today’s diverse classrooms, you will meet students from many cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds. To teach effectively, educators must make every learner feel valued, seen, and respected.

This WebQuest will guide you through exploring Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) an approach that connects learning to students’ cultural experiences. You will research, reflect, and design a classroom plan that demonstrates how to create inclusive and equitable learning environments.

By the end of this WebQuest, you will understand how culture influences learning and how teachers can use CRT to promote engagement, connection, and academic success for all students
