Introduction

Welcome, Researchers!

Today you’ll become digital detectives!

You’ll learn how to find reliable information about important people in history using the internet.

By the end, you’ll create a short report or slideshow about one famous person.

Task

You will:

  1. Choose one historical figure from the list.

  2. Use kid-friendly websites to research facts about their life.

  3. Create a short presentation or mini-poster with your findings.

Your research should answer:

  • Who is your person?

  • What did they do that made them important?

  • When and where did they live?

  • How did they change the world?

Process

Step 1: Pick your person from the list.

Step 2: Use the websites provided to search for facts.

Step 3: Take notes in your research sheet.

Step 4: Create your project (poster, Google Slide, or short paragraph).
