Introduction

Nationalism is a way for people to show their strong love and support for their own country. Have you ever wondered how nationalism is linked with colonialism or the importance of nationalism to people? 

This activity will help you explore these three things:

Task

Your task is to create a presentation that focuses on nationalism. Your presentation should include:

  1. A summary of the lack of nationalism in Kiribati.
  2. A brief explanation of the link between colonialism and nationalism.
  3. Give at least 3 importance of nationalism
  4. Attach videos, diagrams, or images to make your presentation more clear and creative. 
Process

Follow these instructions to complete your tasks.

  1. Form a group of 5 students. Each member must do their research of lack of nationalism, the link of nationalism and colonialism and the importance of nationalism
  2. Assign digital technology to use. Each member should argue on what types of digital technology to use, such as Canva, PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
  3. Practice of presentation. Ensure that everyone has their parts and understands the topic and explains it confidently. 
  4. Submit and present. Upload the final product to the lecturer and present your work to the whole class.
