Get ready to find out how to use this knowledge to live a longer, stronger, and more energetic life!

Task

  1. Design a Routine: Choose one aerobic activity (like jogging, cycling, or dancing) and create a clear, step-by-step 20-minute plan.

  2. Film It. You need to take a video of yourself while performing it.

  3. Your plan must include: a 5-minute Warm-up, 10 minutes in the THR zone, and a 5-minute Cool-down.

  4. Justify It: Briefly explain why you chose those specific exercises for the warm-up and cool-down.

Process
  1. Practice: Practice your routine to ensure you can perform it smoothly and hit the correct timing for each section (5-10-5 minutes).

  2. Film: Record your video performance. Make sure the video is clear and shows your movements.

  3. Analyze & Write: Write your justification report, answering all parts of the Analysis requirement.

  4. Review and Submit: Check that the written plan, the video, and the analysis report are all complete and ready to turn in by the deadline.

Evaluation

Score Level

Execution (Video Performance)

Design (Workout Structure)

Justification (Written Analysis)

Excellent (5)

The video is clear and shows the full 5 minutes with high energy and correct form. Timing is perfect.

The 5-minute plan is logical, safe, and strictly follows the 1-3-1minute rule.

All THR calculations and justifications are accurate, detailed, and clearly explained.

Good (4)

The video is mostly clear. The performance is good, but form or energy drops slightly during the routine.

The plan follows the 1-3-1 rule, but one exercise choice could be better for safety or effectiveness.

Most of the justification is correct, but one explanation is too brief or missing a key detail.

Fair (3)

The video is hard to follow, or the student stops/pauses. The routine does not hit the exact 5-minute time requirement.

The plan is missing one of the three required sections (Warm-up, THR, or Cool-down).

Key information, like the calculated THR, is incorrect or the explanations are very brief.

Needs Work (2)

No video submitted, or the video shows very little effort and incorrect timing.

The plan is confusing and does not follow the required structure.

The written justification is missing or contains major errors.
