Through this WebQuest, you will embark on a journey to discover the essence of Islam—its core beliefs, sacred teachings, and meaningful traditions that guide the lives of over a billion Muslims worldwide. You will explore its Five Pillars of Faith, learn about the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and understand how Islam encourages compassion, justice, and devotion to one God.

By the end of this activity, you will gain a clearer and deeper appreciation of Islam as a religion of peace, discipline, and faith—one that continues to inspire people across the globe.

Task

In this WebQuest, you will take on the role of a research explorer who seeks to understand the true essence of Islam — its beliefs, teachings, and traditions.

Your mission is to gather accurate information from reliable sources and present your discoveries in a creative and informative output that will help others appreciate Islam as a religion of peace and faith.

By the end of this activity, you are expected to:

1. Identify the basic beliefs and teachings of Islam.



2. Describe the significance of the Five Pillars of Islam.



3. Explain the role of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in spreading Islam.



4. Recognize the importance of Islamic values and traditions in the lives of Muslims.



5. Create a final output — one of the following:

A poster or brochure introducing the teachings and traditions of Islam, or

A short multimedia presentation (PowerPoint or video) titled “Discover Islam.”
