Welcome, young learners!

Have you ever thought about what makes a person truly successful—not just in school, but in life? Is it having talent, working hard, helping others, or having good values? In this WebQuest, you will explore what it really means to become your best self by understanding six important words: virtues, goals, skills, contributions, achievements, and outcomes.

In this WebQuest, you will discover this three basic learning outcomes: 

Define the key terms virtue, skills, contribution, outcome, achievement, and goal in their own words.

(Knowledge & Understanding)

Identify examples of virtues, skills, contributions, and achievements that reflect positive behaviour and community participation.

(Understanding & Application)

Explain how personal virtues and skills help them achieve goals and make meaningful contributions to their school and community.

In this WebQuest, you will explore what it truly means to become your best self by understanding six powerful words: Virtues, Goals, Skills, Contributions, Achievements, and Outcomes.

You will work both individually and collaboratively to discover how these qualities shape your character and success — at school, at home, and in your community.

By the end of this WebQuest, you will be able to:

  1. Define the six key terms in your own words.

  2. Identify real-life examples that show positive behaviour and community participation.

  3. Explain how your personal virtues and skills help you achieve your goals and make meaningful contributions.

To achieve these learning outcomes, you will complete the following activities:

Purpose:

This WebQuest is designed to help students explore and reflect on the importance of virtues, skills, goals, contributions, achievements, and outcomes in their personal growth and moral development. It encourages learners to think critically, collaborate with peers, and connect moral values with their everyday actions and decisions.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this WebQuest, students will be able to:

  • Define and explain the key terms: virtue, skill, goal, contribution, achievement, and outcome.

  • Identify real-life examples that demonstrate these moral concepts.
