Task
In small groups of 4 you will research a specific topic from the list below. Then create a presentation using one of the following tools: Google Slides, Canva, Animoto, or Genially. Once completed, your group will teach the rest of the class about your chosen topic.

- Life in the Trenches
- The Role of Women & Civilians

- WWI’s Global Impact (Africa, Asia, and Colonial Troops)
- The End of the War & Treaty of Versailles
- Research the topic
Utilizing the resources provided, please take notes and find information regarding your chosen topic. You may use outside resources as well but please cite them.
- Create a presentation,
using either google slides, Canva, Animoto or Genially, create a presentation that includes a summary of your chosen topic. Include 3 facts that you found interesting as well as at least 2 images. Include primary sources (letters, quotes, propaganda posters). Your presentation must include an interactive factor in this presentation this could be a Kahoot, Nearpod, Genially or quizizz
- Present to the Class
Present your Topic to the class, then complete a one paragraph reflection sharing what you learned, what you found interesting, and why you feel your topic was important.

World War One is considered the first true global conflict, its reshaped borders and has eliminated complete countries. In this WebQuest, you have explored the causes, life in the trenches or the impact of war on civilians or on society in general.
It is important to consider how the lessons learned from this conflict created a path towards WWII. It is important to recognize how decisions from this war continue to affect us globally today.
