Children understand the link between their feelings and actions.
They start to be able to control their impulses in different states.
Task
I can show, name, and control my emotions with the help of my parents and teachers.
I can do something different and make a mistake and work through how I feel.
Process
The social-emotional activities provided for the students will help them and their parents reinforce what they are learning at school, navigate how to name and react to feelings, and respond to changes, mistakes, and transitions.

Feelings Collage
I can make a collage with magazines and other materials to show, cut out, and glue faces that show different emotions. I can show what happy, sad, mad, surprised, and angry look like.
Calm Down Jars
Create a calm-down jar to manage and regulate my feelings. Materials: Bottle, water, baby oil, glitter, and food coloring
Yoga Exercises
Do preschool yoga exercises, deep breathing use balloon blowing techniques. Pretend you are blowing in and out of a balloon. This action promotes self-regulation and helps students control their bodies when they feel angry or frustrated.
Sock Puppets
Create Sock puppets to role-play social situations; share how you feel when you have to share, take turns, or when someone makes you sad, mad, angry, and upset.
Evaluation
The students will be evaluated from anecdotal notes recorded by teachers and caregivers through observations in class and at home, and during small group activities, and circle time.
Conclusion
The social-emotional activities provided for the students will help them and their parents or caregivers reinforce what they are learning at school, navigate how to name, identify, and react to feelings and emotions, and how to respond to changes, mistakes, and transitions using strategies in activities and resources provided.
