Life in an Ecosystem

Introduction

In this Webquest you will explore eight different ecosystems throughout the world.  You will take on the life of an animal in that ecosystem and face challenges that your certain animal might face, with a little twist.  You must survive predetors, weather, and other tasks to move on to the next ecosystem.  

You will nurture two cubs while surviving the intense winter in the alaskan mountains as a Mountaoin lion.

You will live in Greenland as a Polar bear trying to catch your dinner.

Survive in the body of an American Fuzzy Lop rabbit evading predators and hunters.

Scamper around an island in the middle of the Pacific as an Igauna searching for a good meal.

Fly around the desert sky scavenging for a meal to keep you alive in the life of a Vulture.

Avoid hunters through the dense grasslands as a Bison.

Try not to be eaten by the vicious Lions of the African savannah galloping around as a Gazelle.

Roam the South American tropical rainforest as a Sloth.

Task

Creative Writing: Complete a travel log of your different adventures of the different animals.  Write the date and at least one paragraph of each adveture.  State for problems you faced and how you delt with it. You must survive for five days, Get creative, have fun, and learn.

Test: at the end of you writing journey you will take a 16 question test.  Two per ecosystem.  If you answer both questions correctly for each place, you recieve a souvenier from that environment to add to your travel log.
