Cognitive Psychology Presentation

Introduction

In this activity we are going to learn how people think and learn. There is so much more behind the scenes that helps your brain understand the world around you. Today we're focusing on cognitive psychology, social cognitive, and behaviorism theory. Here's a quick refresher on what each of those things are: Cognitive Psychology- the study of the mind's internal mental processes, including how we think, learn, perceive, remember, and make decisions, Social Cognitive Theory- explains how people learn by observing others, interacting with their environment, and experiencing the consequences of their actions, and Behaviorism Theory- a psychological theory that suggests all behaviors are learned through interactions with the environment, primarily through processes like classical conditioning and operant conditioning.

Task

As a group you are to create a short presentation explaining what Cognitive Psychology, Social Cognitive, and Behavioral theory. Compare how they are alike and different and give examples of how you use them in everyday life.
