Introduction

The following WebQuest hopes to expand understanding of crucial literary concepts, and their uses.

Task

You will explore a WebQuest in order to understand the intricacies, uses, dos, and don'ts of various literary terms.

You will create a Slideshow to define various terms, list popular examples of their use, and provide examples of your own.

Please consult the rubric & read instructions carefully before beginning the task.

Process
  1. Define "Analogy"
    • List popular or favorite uses of analogy
    • Provide two of your own examples
  2. Define "Metaphor"
    • List popular or favorite uses of metaphor
    • Provide two of your own examples
  3. Define "Simile"
    • List popular or favorite uses of simile
    • Provide two of your own examples
  4. Define "Symbolism"
