Training to Become a Fitness Hero!
Now that you’ve accepted the challenge, it’s time to begin your training! To become a Fitness Hero, you must learn how your body moves, builds strength, and stays healthy. Your mission is to explore five key fitness skills, test your own abilities, and create a fitness plan to help you improve.
To complete your mission, you will:
- Investigate the five keys of physical fitness using links provided.
- Answer 10 questions to show what you’ve learned.
- Complete fitness challenges to test your strength, endurance, and flexibility.
- Design a 1-week personal fitness plan that includes all five components of fitness.
At the end of your training, you will submit your completed question sheet, fitness challenge results, and personal fitness plan to prove you have what it takes to be a real Fitness Hero! Are you ready to begin your training? Let’s get started!

- Do as many sit-ups as possible in one minute.
- Toe Touch Test (Flexibility)
- Sit and reach for your toes. Hold the stretch for 20 seconds.
- Balance Challenge (Body Composition & Control)
- Stand on one foot for 30 seconds without falling.
Create Your 1-Week Personal Fitness Plan!
- Based on what you learned, design a simple workout plan that includes all 5 components of fitness.
- Example Plan:
- Monday: Run for 5 minutes (Cardiovascular Endurance)
- Tuesday: Do 10 push-ups (Muscular Strength)
- Wednesday: Hold a plank for 30 seconds (Muscular Endurance)
- Thursday: Stretch for 5 minutes (Flexibility)
