Overview:

While creating a unique fashion magazine, students:

- enhance their reading comprehension and creativity,

- improve communication skills while working with peers,

- expand their vocabulary on the topic.

Materials and equipment required for this WebQuest:

1. Computers or tablets with internet access.

2. Editing and/or Word Processing software (Photoshop, Canva, Word, Google Docs, etc.)

3. Presentation tools (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.)

4. Interactive Smart Boards and/or printer (for physical copies of the magazine).

Basic steps:

1. Introduction: Students are introduced to the concept of fashion magazine and their task;

2. Main task: Students are divided into groups of 4-5 and are assigned roles within the group according to their preferences (editor, writer, designer, etc.)

3. Research: Students use links provided by the teacher to gather information on fashion items. The work starts in the classroom and may continue at home using various collaboration software (Microsoft teams, Zoom, etc.)

4. Designing: Students work together to design, edit and finish their magazine.

5. Presentation: Each group can decide how to present their work - to print the copy of the final product or to present it digitally. In both cases, a small presentation is needed to introduce the members of the gorup, their roles and the websites used. Groups then present their work to the class by showing it physically or in the software they used.

Note: Students should open their software or prepare the copies beforehand to not waste time from the lesson.

6. Reflection: Students give comments and ask questions about each other's work. Then, learners reflect on their own challenges and achievements using the questions provided.
