Introduction
Welcome to our journey into the fascinating world of habitats! A habitats is the nutral environment in which plants and
animals live, grow, and thrive. From the driest deserts to the deepest oceans, habitats comes in all shapes and sizes,
supporting an incredible array of life.
On this web page, we'll delve into the different types of habitats, exploring their unique features, inhabitants, and
importance. We'll also examine the impact of uman activities on habitats and discuss ways to conserve and to protect
these vital ecosystems.
So, lets embark on this exciting adventure and discver the wonders of habitats!
Task
Students mission is to research, and create a multimedia presentation about specific a habitats. You'll need to answer
the following questions:
1.What is the habitat's name and location?
2.What are the habitats unique features and charateristics?
3. What types of animals live in the habitat?
4 How do humans impact the habitats, and what can the do to help protect it?
Process
Choose a habitat from the list below:
.Desert
.Rainforest
.Aquatic
.Grassland
.Wetland
.Mountain
.Polar region
2.Research your choose habitats using the provided websites and resources.

4.Share your work with the class in the form of presentation and discuss the similaries and differences between
habitats.
Materials and resources
.Computers or laptops with internets access
.Presentation software (e.g.,) Powerpoint, Google slides)
.Habitat-related websites and resources (listed on the student page)
.Whitboard and markers
Evaluation
your Presentation will be evaluated based on:
1.Accuracy and completeness of information
2.Creativity ad engagement of the presentation
3. Depth of understanding and analysis of the habitat
4.Effecetive use of multimedia elements.
Completed presentations (40 points)
Participation and engagement during research and watching videos (20 points)
Written reflection or self-assessment (20 points)
Class discussion and participation (20 points)
Procedure
1.Introduction (10minutes): introduce the concept of habitats and review the objectives and standards alignment.
2.Research and Presentation (30-40 minutes): Have students research their chosen habitat and create a multimedia
presentation.
3. Presentations and Discussion (20-30 minutes): Allow students to share their presentations and facilitate a class
discussion on the similarities and differences between habitats.
Conclusion
"Today, we explored the amazing world of habitats! We learned about different environments where plants and animals
live, and how they adapt to their surroundings. We also discovered the importance of habitats for the survival of our
planet's incredible biodiversity,
Remember, every living things needs a habitat to call home. Lets do our part to protect and preserve these vital
ecosystems for future generations!

This webquest is designed to introduce students to the concept of habitats and the diversity of life on earth. Students
will research and watch videos about types of habitats, the importance, exploring its unique features, inhabitants and
conservation challenges.
The objectives is that:
Students will understand the concept of habitats and their importance for life on Earth.
Students will be able to identify and describe different types of habitats.
Students will analyze the relationships between plants and animals in a specific habitat.
Students will evaluate the impact of human activites on habitats and propose conservation strategies.
