Introduction

Opening Statement:

Pollution is a serious threat to ecosystems worldwide, impacting both wildlife and human health. In this assignment you will explore the causes and effects of different types of pollution and consider ways to reduce its impact. Let’s work to understand how our actions affect the planet and explore solutions.

Guided Questions:

•What is pollution, and what are it’s main types?

•How does pollution impact various ecosystems?

•What can be done to reduce pollution and protect the environment?

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this assignment students will:

•Understand different types of pollution and their sources.

•Describe the effects of pollution on ecosystems and biodiversity.

•Develop solutions to combat pollution.

Task

Project description:

Students will work in groups to create a narrated presentation on a type of pollution and its impact on an ecosystem and one solution to reduce pollution in that environment.

Process

Step 1: Research

Each group will research a specific form of pollution assigned to them. The goal is to understand the causes, sources, and effects of this pollution type on ecosystems.

Step 2: Analysis

Students will analyze the impact of pollution on their assigned ecosystem.

Step 3: Solution

Students will brainstorm And develop possible solutions to address these pollutant issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:
