Instruction: The statements below are a scenario of various practices, what you need to do is to put thumbs up emoji if it’s a safe practice or a thumbs down emoji if it’s risky. 

Reminder: In your google docs, provide all your answers in every activity and post it in our Class FB page with the caption " Lesson 2 ; Safety issues on the Use of ICT including e safety Rules". Make sure that you are using your real name and profile picture to confirm that it is you.

Activity 2: Essay Writing

Imagine you are a teacher in a school, and during your class, student’s are in need to use their digital devices, however you are also concerned about the e-safety risk associated with students using their own devices. As a teacher, what e-safety rule can you create so that you could make a classroom environment that balances the educational benefits of using digital devices with the need to ensure students safety and responsible online behavior?

Activity 3: E-Safety Action Plan

Instruction: 

  1. You will choose a specific e-safety issue that you feel strongly about and you want to address.
  2. Then, you will create a detailed action plan outlining how you will contribute to safer online environment. The plan should include: goal; target audience; and strategies.
  3. And below of your action plan, share or explain why you have chosen that e-safety issue.
