From traditional libraries to digital platforms, ICT has transformed communication and education systems globally. In this WebQuest, you will explore the fundamental concepts of ICT, its applications in education, and how it has impacted daily life and professional environment.

The class will be divided into 3 groups. Each group will show how to utilize the technology in strengthening the connection to our God.

Process:

1. Explore: Each group will choose any ICT tools on how to strengthen our relationship to 

2. Analyze: Once you have gathered information, discuss your findings as a group. 

3. Create: Prepare a 2-3 mins roleplay presentation to share with the class. Your presentation should include:

- A clear explanation of the topic

- Specific examples of how technology is used in this role (include links to websites, apps, or videos).

- A discussion of the benefits and challenges of using technology in this way.

4. Share: Present your roleplay presentation to the class. Listen carefully to the presentations of other groups.

5. Reflect: After all groups have presented, reflect on the overall role of technology in strengthening our relationship to Go.  

Consider the following questions:

- How dies technology changed the way we teach and learn?

- What are the potential benefits and drawbacks of using technology in our relationship to God?

- How can we use technology effectively and ethically in the classroom?

Evaluation:

Your group's work will be assessed based on the following:

- Content Knowledge: How well does your group understand the given scenario utilizing technology in strengthening our relationship to God.

- Research Skills: Did your group find relevant and credible resources to support your findings?

- Presentation Skills: Was your presentation clear, organized, and engaging? Did you effectively use visuals and technology?

- Collaboration: Did each member of your group contribute equally to the research, analysis, and presentation?

- Critical Thinking: Did your group demonstrate a thoughtful understanding of the benefits, challenges, and ethical considerations of using technology in strengthening our relationship to God?

 This webquest will provide you with a deeper understanding how the immergence of ICT is one of the wonderful gifts coming from God. God isn’t a hardliner when it comes to using technology to further his purposes. In other words, he isn't entirely for or against technology. But this doesn’t mean that God is a-okay with however we decide to use technology. He calls us to use technology for his glory and our good—not for the destruction of his creation or people.

Advancements in communication tools can help us share the gospel, connect with more people, and stay in touch with our family and friends. But technology cannot share the gospel for us or replace the need for in-person relationships. To make disciples, there is a need for the Church to have a physical presence. At its core, the Church is an assembly of people who gather together with each other in person.

As you connect with people on social media, podcast your sermons, or broadcast your sermons, keep an eye on how you and your church can lead people to connect with you in person, and how you can physically reach out to people in your community.

Technology is a mixed bag of blessings and curses.

On the one hand, it has solved numerous problems around the world, it has alleviated many diseases, and it has improved the quality of life for billions of people. On the other hand, technology can be used to inflict pain and suffering, and it can lead to unintended consequences.

But here’s the deal:

Technology must be redeemed for the glory of God, your good, and the good of others.  

Technology cannot be simply rejected, demonized, or even mindlessly accepted and used. For your technological usage, you need to do so discerningly, and with an open hand knowing that technology is not the solution to every problem—but it is a vehicle to share the gospel and do good for others.

Trust in God—not technology
