Four Types of Sentences

Introduction

On completion of this lesson students will be able to:

 

- differentiate four types of sentences

- know the different structure of sentences

- able to create and use the four types of sentences

- able to express their thoughts and feelings with these four types of sentences

Task

Students will create sentence bingo cards. The bingo card will consists of four different (declarative, interrogative, imperative, exclamatory) create in their own.

Process

Instructions:

1. Each student get a card from teacher

2. Draw small square in the card

3. With different color makers write down one sentences each with the four types of sentences in each square

4. Read out a sentence, and have students determine each types 

5. Let the students circle the sentence in their bingo card according to the type of sentence you read

6. The first person to complete the row or column wins

Bingo card include all four types of sentences. Each of sentences are correctly make and mark the square according to sentence teacher read. Bingo card include all four types of sentences. Some of the sentences are not correctly make. Bingo card include only three types of sentences. Most of the sentences are not correctly make and structure.  Bing card include just one types of sentence and most of the sentence is not structure.

 

Conclusion

The lesson overall include four types of sentences and being able to recognize each type of sentence. Learning the ability to make sentence with each type of sentences. The project goal to help student to be able to differentiate types of sentences in their daily use. The project will help students to stimulate their brains to come up with expressing their emotions with these types of sentences.
