Task

Each student will work on a project individually explaining the stages of the water cycle, and how the water cycle influences nature. They are allowed to use any method of research as long the website is government secured/educational. Wikipedia is not allowed. The project must include at least: Evaporation, Condensation,Transportation, precipitation, run-off, Transpiration, and Accumulation. (Deposition, infiltration, and Sublimation DO NOT have to be added to the project but may be if the student chooses to.) The project can be turned in as a diagram on poster board, a power point presentation at least 10 slides long, one photo per slide, or a video. A 1 page written report must also be included. The student must give a presentation that is at least three minutes long. You will have three weeks to complete it from the given date.

Do not be afraid to be creative. This project is meant to demonstrate your perspective on the water cycle, based on your research. Science is meant to be fun as well as interesting. Try your hand with bright colors for the power point slide, engaging facts, or 3d models for the poster board. And do not forget your 1 page report!

Evaluation

This project will be graded out of 100 points. 35 points will be given for accuracy, 25 presentation, 25 points for creativity, and 15 points for grammar and writing.
