Malala Yousafzai y su "gloriosa lucha" por la educación

Task

Imagine you are a history teacher. Prepare a lesson about Malala Yousafzai and her fight for the right to education. You will teach your students about how Malala became a history maker by defending human rights and helping children, especially girls, go to school.

Sure, We Teach History. But Do We Know Why It's Important?

What You Will Do:

Research: Learn about Malala’s life, her activism, and her story.

Create a Lesson: Prepare a simple lesson where you explain who Malala is, what she did, and why her fight for education is important.

Roleplay: Pretend you are the history teacher and present your lesson to the class.

Remember: Use the key vocabulary we learned from the introduction (like activism, human rights, rights, and education), to help your students understand why Malala’s story is so important.

Evaluation

Roleplay as the History Teacher

  • Present Your Lesson: Stand in front of the class and pretend you are the history teacher. Teach your classmates about Malala, using your notes and visual aid.
  • Ask Questions: At the end of your lesson, ask your classmates the questions you prepared. See how much they learned from your lesson!
  • Important: Include the answers to the questions in "Process", and practice the presentation.

Be confident and speak clearly. You are the teacher, and your job is to help your "students" learn about Malala’s important work!

Conclusion

As for the conclusion, tell the class what have you learned about Malala. Do you think that her actions are justified? Why? Do you agree with her cause?
