Introduction

Help students to learn more about common fruits that can be found in a supermarket and the correct pronunciation.

  • Student could identity different fruits.

 

  • Student could illustrate the reason why they choose the fruits during the process.

Task

According to the picture I offered you below, please select ten fruits that you would like to buy at a grocery store and explain why you chose them.

Process

1. Review all the fruits in the picture.

2. Search the fruits that you are not familiar with.

3. Select ten fruits from the picture that you would like to buy.

4. Explain the reason why you choose for each of them in complete sentences. (It could be any reason. For instance, you like the taste, color, appearance, or you have never seen it before.)

 

Evaluation

The worksheet should be done and handing out to the teacher at the beginning of the next class.

100 A++: Finish and handing out the worksheet on time without any mistakes.

90 A+: Finish and handing out the worksheet on time with 1-2 grammar mistakes.

80 A: Finish and handing out the worksheet on time with 3-5 grammar mistakes.

70 A-: Finish and handing out the worksheet on time with more than 5 grammar mistakes.

60 A- -: Handing out worksheet late (before the end of the week) will only get a basic grade.

** No makeup. The last hanging out time is the end of the week. ( Friday before noon 12:00 )
