Christmas Mission Possible

Introduction

One day, 502 class had a lesson about Christmas. When teachers are using the slides to show students the vocabulary, the computer suddenly stops working.  Could you help the poor teacher rewrite the sentences and vocabulary to finish the class?

Task

1. Students will understand vocabulary and its meaning.

2. Students will use vocabulary to rewrite sentences.

3. Students will understand the history and significance of Christmas.

Process

1.Warm up: Tell students the history of Christmas.

Christmas is a holiday established to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ and is celebrated on December 25 every year. On this day, people typically hold celebrations, including gift exchanges, family dinners, and church services.

2. Teaching vocabulary related to Christmas.

3.After teaching vocabulary, ask students to draw a picture of the above vocabulary had taught in one stroke and other students guess what he or she is drawing.

4. Students will get a sentence which is not in order, ask students to rewrite the sentence in the correct order.

5. Wrap up: Ask students questions about today’s course.
