Types of Water and what they do or how they function/ What lives in them?
Task
I want my students to understand the different types or kinds of water and what they do and what may live in them as well. This is a new concept that should be fairly easy to learn and succeed in
The objective of the lesson is to be able to show and teach my students about the different kinds of water (Rivers, Lakes, Pool, Streams, etc) and have them understand they each have a different purpose and have different things amongst them such as water animals, how fast the different types of water move etc.
Process
Here is the step by step of what needs to be done
1. Find your seat and take out a pencil
2. I will show you a powerpoint and you will take notes
3. We will then play a Kahoot to see how much you understand so far Enter Game PIN - Kahoot!
4. We will then explore some AR of the different types of water Explore WWF Free Rivers, a new augmented reality app | Pages | WWF (worldwildlife.org) This is just about rivers so
5. We will do a quizziz practice on Rivers oceans streams etc. Water Sources | 410 plays | Quizizz
6. A video will be shown to introduce what animals may live in each body of water
7. I will test your knowledge after a quick review of everything with an assessment
Evaluation
I will grade the students on their work based off of how I see how hard they are trying and as far as the assessment that will be graded full through
This will be the rubric
A:80
B:60
C:40
D:20
F:0-10
These all represent points
Conclusion
So Now my students will be able to recognize the different typesof water and the functions and features among them
I expect them to go home and explore some more using VR or AR and even watching some fun videos like this about them:
