Task

Task: 

Your task in this study journey is to create a physical web, learners model the interconnectedness of organisms in an ecosystem. In this activity, learners will see how one organism is connected to other organisms and the interdependence of organisms in an ecosystem. You will differentiate biotic and abiotic components in an ecosystem and explain how biotic factors need abiotic factors to susteain life through illustrating it. 

Process

Process:

Research Information: Gather nformation from different resources about the meaning of ecosystem and the difference about biotic and abiotic components and its factors need to sustain life in an ecosystem.

 

Planning and Organization: After searching or looking for a reliable information, you can organize the thoughts and ideas you gatheres using a powerpoint or other presentation tool. Create your own creative powerpoint presentation and it must have brief discription, images, videos and explain to everyone in class to better understand the topic being presented.

 

Presentation: Present your creative output to the class and explain it clearly and concisely so that everyone can understand it. 

 

Evaluation

For the grading rubric, the following are the criteria for giving point for every presentation being presented.

Student does not have grasp of information. Student is uncomfortable with information. Student is at ease with content, but fails to elaborate. Student demonstrates full knowledge with explanations and elaboration.  
Visuals Student used no visuals. Student occassionally used visuals that support text and presentation. Visuals related to text and presentation. Student used visuals to reinforce screen text and presentation.  
Creativity Student has no effort.

Student has not much creativity.

Student has added few photos and changed design. Student has added photos, colors, videos and design.  
Delivery Student speaks too quietly for students not to hear. Student speaks quietly and mispronounce words. Student's voice is clear and pronounce words correctly. Student's used clear voice, preciseand correct pronounciation of the words.  

Note: The total score is 20 points.
