Introduction
A computer is an electrical device that processes data based on instructions provided by computer programs. Computers can be used for a variety of purposes, from simple calculations to complicated procedures including artificial intelligence (AI).
A computer consists of two basic components: hardware and software. The hardware is in charge of completing tasks, while the software instructs the hardware on which tasks to complete and how to perform them. Software includes system software and software programs that run on a computer and allow the hardware to accomplish various functions.
Task
Students will collaborate in groups of four to conduct research on the basic components and operations of computers. Each team uses the knowledge to carry out a number of computer-related written and hands-on tasks. Activities involve drawing of computer parts and explaining their functions.
Process
STEPS:
1. Form a group of four (4).
2. Discuss, brainstorm, and decide.
3. Prepare for the activity.
4. Present and report in the class.
Evaluation
Teamwork: 40%
Content: 30%
Creativity: 20%
Overall Performance: 10%
TOTAL: 100%
Conclusion
Therefore, each group learn about the basic parts of computer and their functions in a creative way.
