Tennessee History

Teacher Page

This project was designed for Marvin Wright Elementary Students. I designed it for the 4th graders of the 2013-2014 school year. They were needing a creative, innovative way to discover information about Tennessee history.  This project allows them to discover, learn, and grow as students as the explore the internet, the Tennessee Electronic Library, and other amazing websites to learn about Tennessee's Amazing history.

This collaborative project also ties in the Arts and the Librarian as we are all teaching the same material but in different depths so that the curricula is crossed in a new and unusual way.

Many thanks to Amy Kenney and Lynette Allen for collaborating on the project.  Many thanks to Carla Meyer, Jill Parks, Yvonne Wardlaw, and Suzanna White for editing and encouraging.

Teaching is an art, art is creative, never stop learning, creating, or growing if you do, you will die.
