Many people believe this was an operational failure by the fire departments in the area and as a government as a whole. They also believe that these fires could have been mitigated easier and lives should not have been lost.

Conclusion
Natural disasters are one of the most unpredictable thing we face. Incident responses, like the one in Maui, are never perfect and are often flawed. What happened in Maui was terrible but some valuable lessons were learned and will dictate responses to incidents like this in the future.
