PRODUCTION OF BROADCASTING, IEM - TASK

Introduction

Welcome to Production of Broadcasting, Interactive, and Emerging Media!



Today, we will be having the group task in which we can apply the principles you learned in our previous sessions. This will test your knowledge and leadership during and after the execution of your task from the proposal up to post-production. This is not a one-day task, it will require you to allot at least 2 weeks. As part of the evaluation, you will evaluate your group mates based on the rubrics discussed below.

Task

30-MINUTE TELEVISION PROGRAM



From scratch, all groups are required to produce a 30-minute television program. No theme will be required but you need to make sure that it will be an education-centered program yet entertaining to your target audiences. Your group will propose a program and line up all the segments. All segments must be original.

Process

  1. Brainstorm and plan all the materials to be included in the program
  2. Present the concept and the timetable of the production
  3. Start shooting and editing all materials for segments
  4. Consolidate all materials and present the program live.
  5. All equipment will be provided during the live production.

Conclusion

Each group will be evaluated closed door and provide all the details and observations during their performance. All students will create and submit an individual report and a narrative experience report for the checking of individual learnings and how they resolve all the problems encountered.
