Your task should you accept this assignment is to create a fictitious case study of a person who has something wrong with them that could be indicated by a urinalysis.  A urinalysis is done on a person’s urine, and it is a diagnostic instrument that can indicate everything from a urinary tract infection, kidney issues or even diabetes.  You will first learn about how a urinalysis works using an online simulation.  Then you will read about a fictitious case study then you will create your own fictitious case study in which your subject has some symptoms, and you will help diagnose what potential condition they have.

After completing the WebQuest reflect on your own or with your partner: what you learned about urinalysis, how case studies can help students learn about medical tests/conditions and how a urinalysis works.  You will need to have a paragraph in your response and be specific in your response to the prompt.  You will need to reflect on how effective you felt this WebQuest was in learning about the specific medical procedure a urinalysis.  You will be graded with a rubric and should make sure you review your work and the rubric to make sure you covered all the portions of the multi-step assignment.
