Introduction
Hello Class! Today you will be creating a presentation on Cognitive Learning Theory, Cognitive Psychology, and Behaviorism. This presentation can be created using Microsoft PowerPoingt, Google Slides, Prezi, etc. Have fun! Be Creative!
Task
You will create a presentation that displays your understanding of Behaviorism, Cognitive Psychology, and Social Cognitive Theory. The presentation should require the following:
- Definitions of all three learning theories (in your OWN words)
- two examples of how to apply these learning theories (two per theory)
- explore the environments that create these positive learning reflexes and how the atmosphere of our classroom can affect students' learning abilities.
- two independent resources
- 1-3 embedded videos describing the learning theories. (this can be one video per theory or one video describing all three)
- explain the differences and similarities of each theory, are there any interconnected characteristics?
- Include a citation page on the last slide
Process
I have provided you with videos and links to help broaden your understanding of Behaviorism, Social Cognitive Theory, and Cognitive Psychology. Keep in mind, I highly encourage you to do your own research outside of these materials to help gauge your knowledge independently.
