Introduction
Addition is one of the fundamental operations in mathematics. It lays the foundation for more advanced mathematical concepts and operations. Understanding addition helps young learners develop numerical fluency and a strong number sense, which are crucial for future mathematical success.
In this Math Exercise pupils will learn how to add 2-digit numbers without regrouping. Practicing your math facts using math games. Learners will go to different websites and practice their addition of 2-digit numbers without regrouping. You will work quickly and accurately and play against the computer.

Task
You will visit four different math websites that provides information and practice through games, activities, etc. to help you get better at your addition of 2-digit numbers without regrouping. The more practice that you receive the better you will get at addition of 2-digit numbers without regrouping.

Process

Evaluation
The final step of the WEBQUEST is your assessment. I want to see how well the drill and practice and games helped with the addition of 2-digit numbers without regrouping. You will need to visit the following linkhttps://www.superkids.com/aweb/tools/math/add/plus1.shtml Please type the number 10 in the first box, the number of problems is 15, then click on Make My Worksheet! After the worksheet appears with a variety of addition that is without regrouping.
Please print this page. You will need to complete the assessment independently and turn it in to me.
The following is how your work will be evaluated:
Rubric
| Beginning | Developing | Accomplished | Examplary | Score | |

Teaching addition to young learners is crucial for their mathematical development, problem-solving abilities, and cognitive growth. It sets the stage for more advanced mathematical concepts and equips them with essential skills for everyday life.
I saw a need for my students to get excited about and want to learn addition of 2-digit numbers without regrouping. This was done in hopes of improving math test scores, I have created this WEBQUEST for students to link to various websites that provide activities, games, and drill and practice that focus on addition of 2-digit numbers without regrouping.
Addition is bringing two or more numbers together to make a new total. The numbers to be added together are called the “Addends”. The first digit from the left is in the tens place and the second digit from left is in the ones place.
